Business Analyst

Pluridio is an innovative enabler in the local FinTech market and a top business software and services provider. The products we have developed assist international bank institutions in their operational expansion by providing tailored solutions that best suit the needs of the Treasury department.

The key objective of this role is to liaise between the client’s needs and the technical team and to help successfully deliver projects. The Business Analyst will be involved in all stages of the software delivery process from gathering requirements and planning exercises through to the detailed analysis and collaboration with the technical team to deliver quality software.

The role requires a driven and proactive person who wants to solve problems using domain knowledge, previous experience in business analysis and dedicated techniques to deliver quality software and cost-effective solutions.

You’ll work in teams of typically 2-4 consultants, playing a key role in all client interactions, gathering and analysing information as well as formulating and communicating recommendations.

Job Description

  • Requirements elicitation (using different techniques).

  • Business Goals, Needs and Objectives definition.

  • Current state analysis (As-Is), and To-Be impact analysis.

  • Data analysis to ensure features are aligned with product Goals / Needs / Objectives and delivering the most Potential Solution Value.

  • Translation of business needs into requirements (Functional, Non-functional, Transition).

  • Functional Decomposition.

  • Epics / Use Cases / User Stories creation based on selected BA documents structure (including Acceptance Criteria).

  • Collaboration with stakeholders, SMEs, Development and QA teams.

  • Planning of Business Analysis Approach on the project, including Business Analysis Information Management (artifacts templates, documents structure, process flow, etc.)

  • Onsite visits to customer location during Discovery phase.

  • Product Backlog management.

  • Playing Scrum Master role if needed.

  • Conducting Technical Interviews for BA positions.

  • Mentoring and coaching other BAs in the organization.

Ideal Candidate

  • 2/3 years of relevant BA experience.

  • English at least C1. Comfortably able to read, write and speak with customers; able to write high-quality unambiguous texts.

  • Experience in creating different types of requirements.

  • Ability to effectively guide elicitation activities.

  • Ability to identify inconsistencies in project requirements.

  • Experience in working with Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) or classic one (e.g. Waterfall).

  • Ability to plan Business Analysis Approach on the project and facilitates related communication.

  • Ability to create/adapt a set of templates to be used in the project.

  • Ability to arrange and facilitate meetings and workshops with the customer.

  • Ability to acquire new information about the project and domain quickly from different sources.

  • Experience in creating diagrams (UML, BPMN).

  • Understanding and ability to propose suitable software development processes and influence/enhance it.

  • Ability to effectively manage the scope of requirements within the project (communicate to stakeholders potential scope creep and manage such risk).

  • Ability to support solution testing/UAT.

  • General knowledge about UX/UI and the ability to take part in designing activities.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and synthesizing skills.

  • Ability to coach/mentor others and relevant experience.

  • Self-managing skills; ability to take full responsibility for a subsystem or a whole project, work without supervision.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members in complex environments (multi-cultural/multi-country/geographically distributed team) and customer representatives.

  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Google Suite, MS Project and similar tools.

  • PMI / Prince2 / Scrum Master / PO Certification would be a plus.
