Andrei Flucuș, Chief Technology Officer at Pluridio, joins the company’s Board of Directors at a pivotal moment in its international expansion.

Bucharest, June 2025 — Pluridio, a Romanian technology company specializing in enterprise software for financial institutions, announces the appointment of Andrei Flucuș, its Chief Technology Officer (CTO), to the Board of Directors. The decision reflects the company’s commitment to integrate technological leadership into its long-term global growth strategy.

With nearly two decades of experience in IT, Andrei Flucuș has led large-scale projects within major financial institutions and international technology companies including Metrosystems, Luxoft, Deutsche Bank, and ING Hubs Romania. Since January 2024, he has served as CTO of Pluridio, driving the company’s technology roadmap and leading the expansion of both its product infrastructure and development teams.

As a Board Member, Andrei will help shape and reinforce Pluridio’s strategic development priorities at a time of accelerated global scale-up and product portfolio diversification. Among recent initiatives is the integration of AI models into the company’s product suite – specifically within its centralized data aggregation and sales intelligence automation platform for sell-side workflows. The Pluridio AI engine currently extracts and normalizes unstructured data (including from scanned documents), summarizes insights on demand, and enables natural language querying to assist relationship managers and sales teams.

A recent report by Boston Consulting Group highlights that only 25% of financial institutions have successfully adopted AI capabilities into their strategic initiatives. The remaining 75% remain stuck in pilot silos or proofs of concept – risking irrelevance as AI-driven competitors push ahead. In the segment of Financial Markets operations, the World Economic Forum estimates that 32–39% of banking workflows could be fully automated, with another 34–37% augmented with AI-enhanced assistance.

Andrei has distinguished himself through the clarity of his vision and his ability to design robust technological frameworks tailored to a fast-evolving financial environment. His appointment to the Board reflects our trust in his leadership at a time when Pluridio is transitioning from a regional innovator to an international provider of advanced financial technology,” said Marius Ionescu, CEO of Pluridio.

This is my first experience with an emerging company, but from day one I knew I could make a meaningful impact. The challenges we tackle – from bridging legacy banking infrastructures with automation, to scaling AI-powered platforms with real-world utility – are exactly the kind of mission that energizes me,” said Andrei Flucuș.

His appointment further reinforces Pluridio’s strategic commitment to supporting the digital transformation of sell-side business of financial institutions in Financial Markets through advanced, real-time software solutions built on automation, data transparency, and AI-assisted decision-making.
