The Altlane Foundation supports young pianist Miruna Maciuca in her upcoming extraordinary concert “The Saint-Saëns Integrale”, an event dedicated to artistic excellence

Bucharest, October 2025 — The Altlane Foundation proudly supports pianist Miruna Maciuca in presenting the extraordinary concert “The Saint-Saëns Integrale”, an exceptional event that will take place on November 22, 2025, at Sala Radio in Bucharest. The concert will highlight a rare artistic performance: the interpretation, during a single concert, of all five piano concertos by Camille Saint-Saëns, one of the most extensive and technically demanding challenges in the piano repertoire. The event will feature Miruna Maciuca, a student at the Venice Conservatory, performing alongside the “Ion Dumitrescu” Philharmonic Orchestra of Râmnicu Vâlcea, under the baton of Russell McGregor from Vienna, concertmaster of Schönbrunn Palace.

Through the magnitude of its repertoire and the technical difficulty of the works, this project marks a premiere in the Romanian cultural landscape and confirms Miruna Maciuca’s place among the elite of the new generation of musicians. At a time when classical culture and music need visibility and continuity, the Altlane Foundation reaffirms its mission to identify and promote young talents who can became artistic ambasadors on the international stage.

“Miruna’s performance is a testament to discipline, courage, and artistic maturity. Through the Altlane Foundation, we aim to bring forward exactly this kind of talent — young people who inspire and give meaning to investing in education and culture,” said Marius George Ionescu, founder of Altlane Foundation.

“Performing the complete Saint-Saëns piano concertos during a single concert, at home in Bucharest, is both a challenge and a dream come true. I am deeply grateful to the Altlane Foundation for the support that makes this project possible and for the trust they have placed in me,” said Miruna Maciuca, pianist.

The Altlane Foundation and Pluridio are part of the same group founded by Marius George Ionescu. Under the leadership of Cristina Elena Ionescu, the Altlane Foundation supports young talents through programs of scholarships, grants, and mentorship, contributing to the consolidation of a culture of excellence, education, and innovation. Pluridio, a Romanian provider of software solutions for financial markets, actively supports the foundation’s cultural and educational initiatives, reaffirming the link between performance, discipline, and creativity — values shared by both the artistic and technological worlds.
