The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has launched a new “Digital Sandbox” pilot in partnership with NVIDIA, providing financial services firms with a secure and supported environment to test AI solutions.
The initiative offers access to accelerated computing, advanced datasets, and regulatory guidance, helping firms explore and implement AI responsibly. It forms part of the UK’s broader strategy to drive innovation, strengthen competitiveness, and unlock economic growth through emerging technologies.
Applications are now open, with testing scheduled to begin in October 2026. This pilot represents a major step forward in enabling financial institutions to harness AI safely and effectively.
